Ageing Well in Gloucestershire: Understanding the Needs of Older Adults in a Changing Healthcare Landscape

We want to hear from people aged 65+ living in Gloucestershire to understand what’s important for their quality of life, health, and independence as they age. This project aims to gather experiences and insights from older adults across the county to inform how local health and social care services can better meet their needs.

Have your say!

Why Are We Doing This Research?
With a growing older population, Gloucestershire needs services that are responsive, connected, and available across all areas. This project will help identify any barriers that older adults face in accessing the right care and support, and find out whether services differ depending on location. Our goal is to ensure that all older adults have a voice in shaping services that support their wellbeing and independence.

Key Areas We’re Exploring:

  • What older adults need to support their health, wellbeing, and ability to stay independent
  • Barriers to accessing healthcare, social care, and community services
  • Differences in service quality and access across different parts of Gloucestershire
